Wenn sich das Jahr sich seinem Ende entgegen neigt bedeutet das, dass die Kalenderindustrie mit Hochdruck daran arbeitet, neue Kalendarien in den Schreibwarenhandel zu bringen. Doch das Geld für den Kauf kann sich der Anwender gerne sparen, wenn er SF-Kalender auf die Festplatte überspielt. Das Programm kennt 25 Kalendertypen, die sich vor dem Ausdruck am Bildschirm sichten und vom Design her umfassend verändern lassen. Dabei ist es möglich, sie individuell zu beschriften, sie mit Fotos aufzuwerten und bereits vor dem Ausdruck mit eigenen Terminen zu versehen. Feiertage für beliebige Jahre berechnet SF-Kalender 9.0 selbstständig und passend zum Bundesland. Eigene Termine lassen sich rasch integrieren. So kann mit wenig Aufwand z.B. die Ferienzeit markiert und dann für diesen Bereich mit einem Mausklick die Hintergrundfarbe und der Termintext gewählt werden. Das Programm unterstützt Jahreskalender im DIN-A4-Format, Tischjahreskalender im A5-Format, Taschenkalender im Kleinformat, Monatskalender DIN-A4 mit eigenen Bildern, Monatskalender schmal, Wochenterminkalender und Urlaubsplaner - und viele mehr. Das Besondere an SF-Kalender ist, dass man nicht auf die vorgefertigten Kalender angewiesen ist, sondern auch eigene individuelle Kalender erstellen kann. So lassen sich Monats- und Wochenkalender generieren und ausdrucken. Problemlos lässt sich so etwa ein Kalender im Querformat auf DIN A3 gestalten, der acht Monate anzeigt und erst mit dem November 2005 beginnen soll. Dabei soll der Kalender zwei Monate nebeneinander drucken und vier untereinander - und die Datumsanzeige soll außerdem in drei Spalten erzeugt werden. Der Sonntag soll mit blauer Schrift dargestellt werden und die Termine kommen 3-zeilig in schattiertem Rot-Blaufarbüberlauf zur Ansicht. Zum Schluss soll der Kalender auch noch um 10 Grad gedreht und mit transparenter Schrift ein Text quer über den Kalender gedruckt werden. Die Möglichkeiten sind einmalig. Es sind noch viele weitere Kriterien einstellbar.
